This has also led to the teased Commando Rocket Launcher finally being unlocked and it will become available at the conclusion of the Major Order, although it can already be used during missions on X-45. Based on the Rocket Launcher from the movie Commando, many players are excited to finally use the iconic weapon, but some can't see it becoming an alternative to established weapons such as the Expendable Anti-Tank or Spear.

Image via Reddit

U/Vargras took to Reddit to discuss the new Commando Rocket Launcher that has been unlocked following the successful defense of the X-45 jungle planet. "I keep seeing the Commando compared again and again to the EAT, and it's not a fair comparison because they're both faster/disposable anti-armor weapons for different tasks," they said.

"The Commando largely did what the Spear does now. You can't really just bring that directly back when the niche is already occupied, or else you risk one just completely invalidating the other," noting that it "so you ditch the ammo backpack, give it a new laser guidance system, and create a completely different gameplay method. Add to it the fact that the Commando "deals less raw damage than the EAT or Recoilless Rifle, but the same demolition damage as the Spear, and it seems kind of obvious to me what the angle is here that Arrowhead is going for."

U/Rykin14 responded by asking for clarification from the Helldivers 2 developers as to what its purpose is supposed to be and the benefit that it has by being chosen over a more established meta weapon saying "I would really appreciate some small dev response stating that it's supposed to be able to easily destroy Fabricators like the Spear does. The Spear is an abnormally strong rocket launcher so it makes sense it would get that kind of power, but the Commando is an abnormally weak rocket launcher. It's kinda hard to be excited for it's official release."

Most of the recent Stratagems have been largely disappointing, with none becoming part of the meta since the Quasar Cannon was released in March. Weapons such as the Airburst Rocket Launcher were quickly dismissed upon release and I don't think I've ever seen one used by another player. With the Commando Rocket Launcher being from the first game and inspired by the iconic Rocket Launcher in the Commando movie, it is disappointing to see that it hasn't been a hit so far. But, all it takes is one player to find a viable use for it and it could become an essential part of the Helldivers 2 meta going forward, so it is too early to write the weapon off just yet.

Helldivers 2 players spot a new Automaton in robot broadcast War is unpredictable and the Helldivers 2 Galactic War is no exception. So far in the game's short lifecycle, we have seen new enemies appear without warning, secret armies being built, and even a black hole destroying a planet, this isn't a game that allows you to rest on your laurels. One Helldiver was recently completing a mission to bring democracy to the galaxy and looks to have stumbled across a new enemy that could be coming to the game.

U/Armin_Studios took to Reddit to share an image of a new Automaton that was seen on the large screens during the Terminate Illegal Broadcast mission. This large robot is not an enemy in the game, and it looks like it could deal some damage.

Image via Reddit

They also dived deeper into what is shown on the screens, explaining what they saw saying "One of the images from the illegal broadcasts the automatons set up in occupied zones. There appears to be an image of an automaton machine of some kind that has yet to be witnessed on the battlefield. It seems to be large, like the Hulk, but far more skinny in its overall proportions with a silhouette akin to that of a devastator. Could this allude to the cyborg siege mech from the first galactic war? Given the factory striders exist, it is not beyond possibility that the automatons could build such machines"

U/Limit1997 noted that it looks like a recently released beta concept for an enemy that either never made it into Helldivers 2, or was redesigned. "That's one of the old beta designs for the Automatons. A couple of weeks ago someone posted a link to the Artstation account of one of the artists that worked on Helldivers 2 showing the original concept art for the Automatons. One of the designs looked pretty similar to the Automaton pictured there." U/DuncanConnell shared that it could be an unused design for the Warlord from Helldivers 1.

It does seem odd for Arrowhead Game Studios to include an image of an unused Automaton rather than one that is already in Helldivers 2, so it could be an early tease that a new enemy could be coming to the game in the future. We have already seen new enemy types added to the game post-release, with the Factory Strider being the most notable addition that the robot army built in secret while seemingly being eradicated from the galaxy.

New threats seem to emerge in Helldivers 2 at the most unexpected times, so it is possible that one day we could just see this enemy in a mission and be taken by surprise. So, it is crucial that you are always on your toes and remain equipped to deal with any enemy in front of you. To do this, we highly recommend checking out our Helldivers 2 best weapons guide and best armor guide so you can serve sweet Liber-tea to whatever the Automatons have planned next.

You can avoid fall damage in The First Descendant with violence…and a spray of bullets Like any old game with verticality, The First Descendant also has a little thing called fall damage that makes players think twice before hopping off buildings. Unless you're Superman, falling off tall structures can cause an untimely death for even the tankiest of characters. But even though this damage-dealing feature is even harder to beat than the most difficult boss, there is, at least, a way to avoid it—by shooting your weapon.

That's according to Reddit user B*tchWTFwe, who discovered that you can jump off structures without taking damage as long as you shoot your weapon before landing. Yes, instead of getting a chunk of your health taken away, you can dish out the pain instead. Some players also pointed out that you can cancel the landing animation by reloading or firing your grappling hook into the air. Though, of course, shooting your already equipped primary weapon is a much quicker way of doing it.

You can also use certain abilities, like Valby's Laundry skill or Kyle's Magnetism Spurt, to avoid or reduce fall damage (though this is already a given since abilities are supposed to give you an advantage in-game.) It is worth noting, though, that Nexon likely didn't intend this to be a feature, so we wouldn't be surprised if the developers eventually patch it out in a future update. But for now, you can continue enjoying it since this bug seemingly hasn't made it onto the devs' radars yet.

Fortnite could get new superhero collab, as Deadpool and Wolverine actors tease potential crossover The popularity of superheroes in Fortnite cannot be understated. In each Creative or battle royale match you jump into, you're bound to see a gun-toting superhero leaping, sliding, and building 360s at some point. And with Marvel and DC continually releasing a steady stream of new films and TV shows, that's unlikely to stop anytime soon, especially with the new Deadpool and Wolverine movie coming out at the tail end of 2024.

Although Epic Games hasn't yet confirmed a possible Fortnite x Deadpool and Wolverine crossover, a new image featuring the upcoming film's actors suggests otherwise. As spotted by Fortnite insider ShiinaBR, Trymacs, a Fortnite content creator, recently shared a photo of him posing with Deadpool and Wolverine cast members Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman after winning a $50 Trio Cash Cup.

Of course, this may just be Reynolds' and Jackman's way of winding down during a lengthy marketing campaign for their film (no matter how unlikely that may be). However, since Epic Games and Disney had previously announced a collaborative, multiyear project at the beginning of the year, the actors' seemingly innocent pit stop to win a minor competition with a Fortnite content creator is more than likely part of Disney's partnership with the video game publisher.

Like always, though, you'll need to take this information with a grain of salt since Epic has yet to confirm a potential Deadpool and Wolverine crossover. But since both these superheroes have already made a battle royale appearance in the past, we wouldn't be surprised to see it announced before the film's release towards the end of July.

Until then, why not check out our pages on the best graphics settings in Fortnite to maximize FPS and the best Fortnite zombie maps so you can enjoy the battle royale even more? Helldivers 2 players want this quality of life change made to Resupply Stratagem Coordinating with your team is a large part of ensuring victory in Helldivers 2. This is sometimes easier said than done as the game still doesn't feature some essential mechanics that would help for better communication when it comes to utilizing resupplies.

Image captured by VideoGamer

U/fuzzum111 took to Reddit to discuss the Resupply Stratagem and how it can be improved. One highly requested quality-of-life change that people want to see added is an automatic ping on the map to show its location to other players. "If I yeet a resupply that takes 10+ seconds to land I have to divert to avoid another patrol that it's going to land on. Why is it asking so much there is a simple indicator on my map where it landed?" They said.

"It's so frustrating to completely lose track of where a resupply is because there are zero indicators on your map where it landed in the waist-high brown clouds produced by the bugs."

This would be an incredibly easy feature to implement, as u/Master_Ch3f explains saying "all they would need to do is hook into the same marker that gets placed for support weapons and apply that nearly the exact same way for when you call down resupplies. This marker would also disappear after the supplies are emptied."

With Arrowhead Game Studios now focusing on performance and fixing issues with the game, we may see quality-of-life features added to enhance the overall experience. Whether it happens remains to be seen, but until then you're still needed in your fight for democracy as the new X-45 jungle planet is under attack from the Automatons.

The good news is, that this current Major Order has unlocked the new Commando Rocket Launcher, which could become a meta Stratagem. To find out what you should pair with it, we highly recommend checking out our Helldivers 2 best weapons guide and best armor guide.

This is what happens when your Helldivers 2 Strategem score goes over 999,999… not much When you're not serving Liber-tea in Helldivers 2, it's nice to take a break and flex your muscle memory on the Stratagem Hero machine. While most of us usually lose within the first few levels, one player took it beyond the 999,999 score cap to find out how far it can be taken and what happens when you reach that elusive score.

Image captured by VideoGamer

U/DranceRULES took to Reddit to show off their score on the Helldivers 2 Stratagem Hero machine of 1,699,017. If you've somehow missed it, the Stratagem Hero machine can be found on the right side of your ship and is a fun puzzle game that challenges you to input Stratagems against the clock. It is a great way to build up muscle memory so you can efficiently bring democracy during missions.

On the leaderboard, the score caps at 999,999 which led many to believe that this was as far as it could go, as very few have reached that point without cheating. But it looks like the score will continue to go indefinitely, or at least until 9,999,999, we will have to see whether someone can eventually cross the 10 million mark.

Since the leaderboard only shows the top 3 scores, many players would like to see this changed, with U/Aegis320 saying "I beat lvl 9 recently, almost beat lvl 10. I wish it would track my own high score instead of global." U/DranceRules also made a great suggestion that it should track scores done on your own ship, which could also include anyone who is in your party. But at least we now know what happens when you reach and pass 999,999 points... Nothing except you now have better muscle memory so you can input Stratagems easier while under pressure.

This muscle memory will come in handy as X-45 is currently under attack from the Automatons, so Super Earth needs as many Helldivers to go to the jungle and spread democracy before the Major Order ends. To ensure victory, along with your favorite Stratagems, we highly recommend checking out our Helldivers 2 best weapons guide and best armor guide so you can be fully equipped to serve Liber-tea to the robot army.

Cyberpunk 2077 multiplayer mod will let you race your chooms, but a release date is nowhere in sight There might not be a game more deserving of a multiplayer presence than CD Projekt Red's sprawling futuristic open-world RPG, Cyberpunk 2077. Although the developer's plans to add it to the game had been shot down following its less-than-ideal launch, one diligent modder is working hard to remedy that. And soon, chooms worldwide could be enjoying high-stakes races and shootouts in the slums of Night City once it launches.

CyberMP, the developer for Cyberpunk 2077's upcoming multiplayer mod, recently gave a few players the chance to test the online mode, including YouTuber JuiceHead. In addition to giving us a quick overview of a Night City populated purely by other player characters, the latter's recently released video also gave a preview of what high-stakes multiplayer races would look like (spoiler alert: a ton of crashing is involved), and, of course, some snippets of 15-player deathmatches.

Although the multiplayer mod already looks highly polished (apart from a few graphical bugs), the developer has yet to reveal its release date. This, unfortunately, means you'll have to remain patient for now before you can jump into a Cyberpunk 2077 roleplay server yourself. However, based on the quality showcased in the previously mentioned video, it may only need a few tweaks and improvements before CyberMP fully releases it.

Now, it is worth noting that this Cyberpunk 2077 multiplayer mod is being designed similarly to GTA 5 Online, meaning you won't get to play through any of the base game's quests or storyline with other players. Instead, you'll have the chance to create your own server-specific experience, whether it's an exclusive roleplaying, racing, or deathmatch server. However, a story mode co-op mod isn't completely out of the picture since other modders could eventually create one down the line.

The First Descendant PSA: You can earn weapon XP by getting ability kills, but there’s a catch Now that we're well into Nexon's launch of The First Descendant, you may already have a character you prefer playing over others. And even if you haven't, you should have no trouble finding one that suits your playstyle since each character is equipped with their own unique set of abilities. Luckily, no matter who you choose, whether it's Ajax, Bunny, or Gley, one thing remains the same across every single one: you can earn weapon XP by getting ability kills.

That means if you get a kill with Frost Shards while running the best Viessa build in The First Descendant, you'll still be able to farm weapon XP fairly quickly. However, according to a post from Reddit user xxxRienxxx, there is a catch—kills you get using certain ultimate abilities do not grant weapon XP.

For instance, if you use Freyna's Venomous Baptism ult, every enemy you eliminate afterward won't help you farm weapon XP. The same goes for Gley's and Valby's ults. For those unfamiliar, each of these characters' ultimate abilities changes your equipped weapon (Venom Baptism, Massacre, Laundry Bomb Launcher), which means you technically aren't using your original primary or secondary guns any longer.

It's also worth noting that the amount of weapon XP you earn depends on which gun you currently have equipped. Naturally, active weapons gain the full amount of XP per kill, while secondary weapons only earn around 20%. This distribution remains consistent even if you switch out guns before downing an enemy. Farming weapon XP also becomes easier in squads because teammate kills grant you experience.

So, if you want to increase your mastery rank for a specific gun quickly, make sure to place it in your active weapon slot. Otherwise, you'll have a difficult time grinding out those precious mod slots with the meager 20% XP that secondary weapons get.

Helldivers 2 PSA: Yes, if you emote while you’re falling you reduce damage Helldivers 2 has its share of quirks and problems, and many of them hinder the player experience, such as its major PC performance issues. But sometimes, players manage to discover something that benefits players, and this one is sure to save thousands of lives.

U/21471824781 took to Reddit to share an interesting discovery. If you emote while falling, you don't take as much damage as if you don't.

https://www.reddit.com/r/Helldivers/comments/1dxr2bu/attention_helldivers_using_an_emote_midfall_may

In the video, they jump off rocks of varying heights and compared damage when using and not using an emote. It appears that you only take approximately 50% of the damage while emoting and can survive falls from incredibly high ledges, with some being 50+ feet.

U/ThisGuyHere_Again explained why they think this works and the physics with the character model that causes it not to take too much damage.

"It seems the primary factor is how it repositions your body and the center of gravity for the game's physics. When you dive and flail, you seem a lot more likely to land on your head and, knowing AH, even impact damage can score headshots. Emotes meanwhile make you tumble more with their stiff postures, increasing the likelihood of landing primarily on one or more "Non-head" limbs, which not only generally take less damage but are also probably more likely to confuse the undoubtedly spaghetti code impact calculations as they "crumple" more on impact and spread out the damage to multiple parts more often."

With the current Major Orders focusing on the Automatons, this trick may come in handy, especially when facing some of the larger enemies such as Devastators, which can use their rocket launchers to send you flying in the sky. I also wonder whether someone will be able to figure out a strategy to ragdoll themselves far enough to travel across large bodies of water and then use an emote to survive the impact. This could help to save a lot of time when traversing larger maps, or it could be used as an escape tactic to gain distance from your enemies.

It is unlikely that this is an intended mechanic, but it will help to not die from being rag dolled, or when the game spawns you on top of a mountain. Hopefully, Arrowhead Game Studios doesn't patch this as it is one of the few useful unintended mechanics in Helldivers 2. But if they do, then players will still have a while to have fun with it as the team is currently on vacation over the summer. That doesn't mean that the content stops though, as players are currently defending the new X-45 jungle planet to unlock the Commando Rocket Launcher. With less than one day left, SEAF needs to come together to eradicate the robot army once and for all. To ensure victory, we highly recommend checking out our Helldivers 2 best weapons guide and best armor guide so you can be equipped to serve Liber-tea to your enemies and emote to safety.

Helldivers 2 community manager confirms they’re ‘digging deep’ into performance issues One of the biggest issues currently plaguing Helldivers 2 is the PC performance. As the game has expanded with new content this has only worsened, with many seeing regular crashes as well as frame rate decreases and stuttering gameplay. Thankfully, it looks like it could be addressed in a future update.

Image captured by VideoGamer

The Helldivers 2 Community Manager Twinbeard took to Discord to share that the team is currently working on PC performance fixes, including high RAM usage which has been causing drastic performance issues including low frame rates and stuttering gameplay for some players.

"We're digging deep in this and apart from various fixes, we have a theory of high RAM use we're checking. I don't think I'll have time to elaborate on this in the same way as I did with the SPM, but we have NOT forgotten about it. I wrote a lengthy post on it internally y-day and got some good info. TLDR: we know, we're working on alleviating it and we haven't forgotten it."

Helldivers 2 also suffers from major memory leak issues, with it increasing the amount of RAM it needs over time, as well as not releasing the resources. This causes an overall decrease in PC performance and can even extend beyond your time playing the game. I have noticed this many times and often have to restart my PC to fix the performance issues.

With Arrowhead Game Studios currently on vacation, this may not be something that is immediately addressed, but the team has still been bringing new content, including the Commando Rocket Launcher that is available to try during the remainder of the current Major Order. This comes following the developers releasing the 01.000.404 update to fix some issues before development quietened down for a few weeks.

The Finals fans agree on best Season 3 mode and it’s not Cashout The Finals Season 3 has mostly been a lot of fun thanks to the implementation of a new map in Japan combined with unique Japanese-themed weapons and gadgets. While fans unanimously agree that making Terminal Attack the mode for Ranked was a big mistake, fans have also been discussing the best mode in The Finals Season 3, and, surprisingly, it's not Cashout.

There should be a new update relatively soon for The Finals this week. Before the new update comes out, make sure to buy the newest item added to the store as it boasts an incredible feature. As for what fans want to see from this upcoming update, besides the want for Cashout to return to Ranked, many players want to see nerfs delivered for Light as the class is currently "killing" the game.

While it remains to be seen what balance changes are delivered this week, if any, right now fans have pushed Cashout to the side in favour of a new favorite mode.

Quick Cash is the best mode in The Finals Season 3

On The Finals' subreddit, user stimpy-t created a thread titled 'Quick Cash deserves more respect'. Their post argues that "It's labelled as a kinda brain dead, side mode. But it's probably the most high octane, chaotic match you will ever play... It's wild, so much fun. There's no hiding, everyone is coming for you".

https://www.reddit.com/r/thefinals/comments/1dxhenx/quick_cash_deserves_more_respect/

In the replies, many comments agree with the OP's sentiment while also arguing that it's the best mode in the game. One of the top replies says, "I've been a Quick Cash advocate since I started playing. It's perfect. 3 teams, 2 stations and 1 vault. Pure, unadulterated carnage - perfectly encapsulates The Finals".

Quick Cash as a true embodiment of The Finals is echoed in many of the replies with one comment saying, "It’s definitely the finals as it’s meant to be played, people coming from every direction everyone attacking the same goal".

There are more comments such as, "It's pretty much the only mode I play anymore" and "Quick cash is what the game is at its core". In explaining why Quick Cash is their favorite mode, one user said it "avoids the pitfalls" of the other modes listed below:

Power Shift - Too low-stakes, low-strategy, and also too annoying if filled with challenge grinders and/or snipers.Terminal Attack - Too slow-paced, too drawn-out, and limits creative expression due to no respawns.Bank It - Feels too much like legacy TDM, and too much of it comes down to camping and 3rd partying at cashout stations.Cashout - Problem is it rewards overly cautious play instead of getting stuck in. Strong death and wipe penalties, two objectives, and second-place qualifying means it's more about sitting back and taking the safest options. It prioritises discipline and conservative play over quick-thinking chaos.

While agreeing that Quick Cash is the best mode to play right now in Season 3, that shouldn't be mistaken with a desire to make it the main mode for Ranked. In response to a suggestion of making it the Ranked mode, fans agreed, "Quick cash is a great casual mode. It would be dogs**t for competitive, because the correct strategy is ALWAYS do nothing and wait until the other two teams fight, then third party and take the point".

Helldivers 2 players just unlocked devastating Commando Rocket Launcher after Major Order defense The current Helldivers 2 Major Order has been an interesting one. For the first few days, it seemed suspiciously easy, with little having to be put in to keep X-45 under Super Earth's control. Then a Strategic Alert took our attention away and to another sector, which allowed the Automatons to try and regain the new jungle planet. That didn't last long though and it has once again been successfully liberated.

Following its defense, another Strategic Alert was sent out, revealing a weapons cache containing the Commando Rocket Launcher. This is the quad missile launcher that was leaked following the Viper Commandos Warbond and is based on the iconic weapon used by Arnold Schwarzenegger in the Commando movie.

Image via Reddit

The Strategic Alert revealed that the weapon would be available to use on X-45 for the rest of the Major Order before being released saying,

"Excavation of the Advanced Weapons Lab on X-45 has recovered an intact cache of a lost Support Weapon from the First Galactic War: the MLS-4X Commando Rocket Launcher. These weapons will be immediately put to use in defense of the planet. All operations in defense of X-45 will be augmented with the MLS-4X Commando until the end of the current Order."

Unfortunately, with X-45 being successfully defended and at 100%, there is no way to use the weapon right now until the Major Order ends. Once it does end in less than 24 hours, the Commando Rocket Launcher will become available to unlock from the Stratagems section of your Ship using Requisition Slips. Until then, if the planet is attacked by the Automatons again, players will be able to jump in to check out the new weapon. Many players will be hoping that the robot army has another fight in them as the Commando Rocket Launcher has been a hit so far.

Image via 20th Century Fox

Players took to Reddit to share their thoughts on the new Commando Rocket Launcher that will be coming to Helldivers 2, with U/Marketplacehero saying "This was a pleasant suprise. Thought they were giving us the spear, but got a brand new weapon instead. Destroys fabricators, but takes two shots to take down towers. I did notice that when I picked up ammo it did not reload. I think it replaces the EAT-17 if you compare the call in times and the number of rockets you get."

It does seem to do less damage than the EAT-17. But with four rockets it could become more useful and a go-to Stratagem for players as you can use it on multiple targets. This is a reason that I use the Recoilless Rifle but this could be set to replace it.

U/Nami_Makes_Me_Wet shared some tips and strategies for the Commando Rocket Launcher and why it could become part of the Helldivers 2 meta going forward. "The individual rockets seem to do less damage than the Spear but since you can rapid fire four of them and they have a superior lock on (allows to aim for weak spots so you can hit walkers in the face and dropships in the engine) the overall output seems better. The targeting also means you will likely be able hit chargers much more reliably than spear will, same goes for bile titans faces," they said.

"Four shots is also enough to clear most bot bases, especially since you don't need to hut vents, and anything up to medium bug hives which means you only need one more teammate or some eagles to do the job."

It will be interesting to see how the Commando Rocket Launcher holds up when used across a variety of missions against both the Automatons and Terminids, but so far it seems incredibly promising. I'm sure many players are happy that it isn't the Anti-Tank Mines that Arrowhead Game Studios has been trying to give to the community for many months now. To find out what you should pair with this new Stratagem to complete your loadout, I highly recommend checking out our Helldivers 2 best weapons guide and best armor guide so you can serve Liber-tea to your enemies and spread democracy across the galaxy.

New Palworld update fixes bug but huge issue still remains Palworld has been one of the biggest, best, and most successful games of 2024 so far, and its popularity has shot through the metaphorical roof once more thanks to the release of the Sakurajima update. As for Pocketpair's own open-world survival game, the Sakurajima update has seen an increase of 868% players, and this magnificent update has added so many great new features such as PvP Arena and Meteorite events.

There have been a few bugs since Sakurajima's release, but issues have been ironed out through the roll out of new updates. A fresh patch has been released to fix more bugs, but fans are saying there still remains a big issue for Xbox players.

Palworld Xbox achievements bug still remains

Pocketpair has just released Palworld update v0.3.3. This patch achieves the following:

Fixed a bug that caused save data to become unreasonably largeOther minor bugs fixed https://twitter.com/Palworld_EN/status/1810181308393640363

It's not a massive update with a long list of patch notes, but fixes are always appreciated. Unfortunately, reacting to the patch notes on Reddit, players have reported that the Xbox achievements bug is still present.

Since the launch of Sakurajima, there have been numerous Reddit threads posted saying Xbox achievements are bugged. Unfortunately, this bug hasn't been fixed judging by the reaction to the patch notes on Reddit as well as Twitter.

In the Twitter replies, people are also claiming that the game continues to crash too frequently on Xbox. There are complaints such as dungeons constantly crashing on Xbox, along with cries that the official Xbox servers need to be fixed.

Hopefully these matters are addressed in the very near future. Looking at the replies, there are no complaints about the game on PC, so hopefully there are no issues at all on Steam.

This Fortnite community suggestion is quite controversial, but it might work Fortnite Battle Pass is one of the most exciting additions to the game. This pass contains over a hundred rewards, including several exclusive skins and emotes. Epic Games releases a new pass with each season and never brings it back, making its contents very rare. While this is the main selling point of the Battle Pass, it's also a double-edged sword.

The Fortnite community has an interesting proposal for Epic, as it seems that most players are in agreement that older passes should return. However, this would also make Battle Pass less popular, and many players would likely pass on it.

Will the older Battle Pass skins return to Fortnite?

Reddit user ProdbyPyxlwhip recently made a post about the older Battle Passes in Fortnite. The player wants Epic Games to bring them back, allowing newer players to get their hands on certain cosmetics. Unfortunately, some popular characters, such as Darth Vader and Aquaman, are locked behind the older passes, meaning they can no longer be obtained.

The post has received a lot of attention, getting more than 10,000 upvotes and over 1,100 comments. Most players agree that it would be nice to bring the older items back, but they understand that Epic may not be willing to do it.

"Epic relies on time-based exclusive items, I doubt they'll ever release any sort of legacy pass till the game is on its last leg," chicken_doers_ posted, while Boise-State-Fan1 believes that "people who love gatekeeping skins are just pathetic."

https://www.reddit.com/r/FortNiteBR/comments/1dwu2hb/please_epic_legacy_passes/

Many Fortnite players also think that older Battle Pass items should simply come to the Item Shop. "I don't even need them to be passes. Just sell the items in the shop at normal shop prices. Let the battle pass be early access, a huge discount and super styles," darkdeath174 wrote. "Make them exclusive for a year to make them more flexworthy," Wboy2006 agreed, adding a suggestion of their own.

While purchasing older exclusive items would be a dream come true for many Fortnite players, it's unlikely that it will ever happen. While it's true that the Battle Pass offers a variety of items for only 950 V-Bucks, many players purchase it for its exclusivity. If Epic removed this, it would likely have a negative impact on sales, which is the last thing the company needs.

The First Descendant Luna release date window teased with exciting details and “dance moves” The First Descendant has only just recently come out, and it has taken over the world of gaming with fantastic player numbers. TFD is available to experience on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC, and there is a lot to enjoy about the game. The release date window for Luna as a playable character in The First Descendant has been teased along with exciting details about her gameplay and an exhibition of her "dance moves".

Having only just come out recently, The First Descendant has broken player records despite suffering from some server issues. The devs have been banning over 1,000 players since launch, and there have been complaints about how its microtransactions are 20x more expensive than Warframe.

While the cost of microtransactions is steep, there's no denying the game has quickly gathered a fanbase. There is a lot planned for the future of TFD, and that includes the release date of Luna as a playable character fairly soon.

The First Descendant Luna release date

The release date window for Luna as a playable character in The First Descendant is early August. This comes courtesy of the official roadmap for 2024, which includes details about plans for seasons 1 and 2.

While there's no specific launch day, early next month implies before August 10th. It's possible a delay could occur, but, as of writing, everything is on track for next month.

In addition to revealing the planned launch window, we also have exciting details for how Luna will work as a playable character in The First Descendant. In a clip shared to Twitter by TFDaltert, Luna is described as a "highly unique character themed around music".

She will offer a "distinctive combat style that feels like rhythm action". This is the only details provided so far about Luna, with the clip cutting off during a statement about how Nexon will also be adding the "popular character Valby as an ultimate".

https://twitter.com/TFDalert/status/1808087297260155188

In addition to exciting gameplay details, TFDaltert has uploaded a clip of her "dance moves". Although she's not playable yet, Luna is an NPC, and you can see her pull off these dance moves in-game. Reacting to these dance moves on Reddit, the unanimous reaction is one of swooning.

Fortnite players discover game-breaking glitch that has to be fixed right away The Fortnite community recently discovered another game-breaking glitch. The glitch ruins the fun for everyone in the lobby, which is why fixing it should be a top priority for Epic Games. Unfortunately, the company is on a summer break, so the situation may not change soon. The break will supposedly end on Friday, July 12.

It is no secret that Fortnite has plenty of glitches. However, most of them are harmless or simply annoying. The latest one, though, is one of the worst glitches the game has had, and we're hoping that Epic will release a temporary hotfix at least.

A new Fortnite glitch allows you to be invincible

Cars are a big part of the current Fortnite season, and that's not something that sits well with the entire community. Fortunately, Epic nerfed cars shortly after the season came out, making them less effective. In this period, the development team also fixed a glitch that made cars invincible. The bad news is that a new version of this glitch is back, and we have no idea when Epic Games will fix it.

Over the past few days, a new glitch has gone viral, as many Fortnite players posted it. It involves the Magneto Gauntlets and cars, which turn out to be a fantastic combination. These two items make cars invincible, allowing players to win games without much effort.

https://youtu.be/Hybb3VPZOoI

As the video above shows, the new Fortnite glitch is extremely easy to pull, although it cannot be used in the Solo mode. Considering how serious the glitch is, we expect Epic to patch it with a hotfix. In addition to this, the game developer may soon ban everyone who used the glitch to their advantage. First-time offenders will likely get a short suspension, while repeated offenders may even get an account ban.

With Epic's summer break ending soon, a lot of new content will come to Fortnite. Besides bug fixes, the developer will release big map changes with the Pirates of the Caribbean collaboration, as well as a new Mythic item.

DBD dev shows fresh concept art for exciting new game set in Dead By Daylight universe Dead By Daylight is a fantastic multiplayer experience, and it's already huge thanks to numerous collaborations with licensed icons of horror. However, the universe is set to get even bigger thanks to BeHaviour planning to release multiple spin-offs. There's The Casting of Frank Stone later this year, but BeHaviour Interactive and Midwinter Entertainment have just shared fresh concept art for another new multiplayer game set in the DBD universe.

There is a lot to anticipate for the very near future of Dead By Daylight. The July 2024 roadmap confirms the release date for the new 2v8 mode, and we're also set to get Lara Croft as a new survivor in conjunction with the launch of Tome 20. Then, when this month is over, all eyes will turn to Chapter 33 which is a crossover with CastleVania.

All of the above is exciting for the core Dead By Daylight experience, but fans also have new spin-off games to anticipate. The Casting of Frank Stone is the most well-known, yet there's also the co-op multiplayer shooter, Project T.

New concept art for Dead By Daylight spin-off Project T

Project T is a new multiplayer spin-off set in the Dead By Daylight universe. It was brought to light once more at the 8th anniversary livestream, and it is in early development with no ETA for when it will release.

While there is no estimated launch window, you can keep tabs on development by joining the Insider Program. This will provide you with newsletters to see how development is progressing, and it will also provide you with opportunities to be part of playtesting and provide feedback.

The very first newsletter just came out recently, and it shows new concept art for the game. As shared by Dvveet on Twitter, the concept art shows three playable characters. The woman is new along with the man wearing the yellow jacket, and the concept art also shows foreboding scenery, unique weapons, and more fowl monsters known as the Thrall.

https://twitter.com/dvveet/status/1809250305973813383/

The Project T First Look video includes even more concept art for the game along with very early in-development gameplay and details.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b1_DhOrH4Ds

Per BeHaviour Interactive's World Expansion announcement, "Project T is a 1-4 person co-op PVE shooter from the world of Dead By Daylight". Rather than being called Survivors like in DBD, the protagonists you play as are instead "Tresspassers, a fierce group of characters trapped within a vast, unexplored region of The Entity's Realm called The Blackwater".

Again, it's very early in development, but the prospect of a DBD PVE co-op shooter is no doubt exciting. It is being developed by Midwinter Entertainment, who are a BeHaviour Interactive company. This is different than The Casting of Frank Stone which is being developed by the independent studio, Supermassive Games.

While there's no ETA for when Project T will come out The Casting of Frank Stone is slated for 2024. No launch day has been confirmed, but a leak suggests its release date is scheduled for September.

Helldivers 2 players theorize that the Automatons may be hacking the system to send us away from the Major Order The latest Helldivers 2 Major Order has seemed suspiciously easy with it being very easy to keep X-45 under Super Earth's control. With just two days to go, Arrowhead Game Studios has thrown a major wrench in the works and now it looks like the Major Order is in jeopardy as a new Strategic Alert is diverting players away to another sector. But, what if the alert didn't come from Super Earth and instead was sent by the Automatons?

Image captured by VideoGamer

U/ChingaderaRara took to Reddit to share a theory that the recent Strategic Alert is not from Super Earth and is instead the result of the Automatons hacking the system. The Strategic Alert is currently sending players away from the Ymir Sector to Aesirs Pass to defend planets from the robot army. This will leave X-45 exposed which could lead to the Automatons taking control of it, causing players to fail the Major Order. They shared their theory by saying,

"1.-A few days ago we got a message about the automatons hacking into our systems via phishing.

2.-The Ymir sector has been cut off from the rest of Super Earth territory for weeks with no negative effect on that little enclave.

3.-The MO requires us to defend X-45, which we successfully did twice.

4.-The only way for the bots to reach X-45 now is through Vega Bay or Meissa. Both planets are under Super Earth control, so the bots launched an attack on both.

5.-We were successfully defending Meissa (though Vega was lagging behind)

6-Suddenly an attack occurs on Aesir Pass with a message telling us is super important to defend it for the operations on the Ymir sector.

7.-The attack arrives with a higher invasion rate than any other defense operation ever (6.2 instead of the regular 4.x) which doesn't make sense.

8.-The defense rate of the planet is jumping all over the place, going as low as 0.1% for a few seconds before jumping as high as 80% per hour and then going back to around 3-4%

9.-On average, the liberation % of Aesir Pass is higher than Vega Bay, despite Vega Bay having a slightly higher Helldiver population and Aesir Pass having a higher HP than Vega Bay, which also doesn't make sense."

According to Helldivers.io, this diversion has split the player base between Vega Bay and Aesir Pass, which is now causing both planets to fail. This could cause Vega Bay to fall which would open up X-45 to the Automatons. There are over two days left before the current Major Order ends, so it is possible that the Helldivers could regain control in time, but with over 46% of players fighting on the Terminid planets, resources may be spread too thin.

With the Viper Commandos Warbond being recently released, and the next one not far away, securing the Medals from the Major Order is much needed to unlock the new available items. To help do your bit for democracy and serve Liber-tea to the Automstons, we highly recommend checking out our Helldivers 2 best weapons guide and best armor guide so you and your team can be fully equipped to take down the robot army and secure the Ymir Sector.

The easiest Major Order in Helldivers 2 history could become our biggest failure The current Helldivers 2 Major Order has seen players liberate and defend the new X-45 jungle planet. Since the event began the planet has been under the control of Super Earth and it seemed as though the win was inevitable. Now, victory looks to be threatened as a new attack by the Automatons could divert attention away and lead to the robot taking back control.

Image captured by VideoGamer

U/DreamToBeLazy took to Reddit to share a new Strategic Alert that has appeared in the game, stating that "The Automatons have launched a surprise attack on Aesir Pass. If it falls, it will jeopardize efforts to rescue our position in the Ymir Sector."

The current Helldivers 2 Major Order has seen players liberate the new X-45 jungle planet and it has remained 100% in the control of Super Earth since the event began, with the community successfully defending the surrounding planets to prevent the Automatons from attacking it.

This is causing some concern among players, as diverting too much attention away from the Ymir Sector could lead to the planets falling under the control of the robot army, with u/Sharpystar saying "Is it just me, or is the situation looking pretty grim? We are barely making even on Meissa, Aesir Pass requires 6.7%/h to defend and Vega Bay is basically lost already which means X-45 could get attacked as well 10 hours from now."

With X-45 being under Super Earth's control throughout the Major Order, it seemed as though this was set to be the easiest Helldivers 2 Major Order so far as players had to do very little work to maintain it. But, with Aesir Pass now being under attack, it could soon turn into another failed Major Order. Arrowhead Game Studios could be doing this to allow players to complete missions on X-45. The new jungle biome was only briefly accessible for Automaton players before it became liberated so now the new biome is only available when playing Terminid missions.

This Major Order has taken an unexpected turn, but the developers always know how to keep players on their toes. To ensure we win the Major Order to earn the Medals to unlock more items in the Viper Commandos Warbond, we highly recommend checking out our Helldivers 2 best weapons guide and best armor guide so you and your squad can be equipped to serve Liber-tea to the robot army.

Bloodborne is now working on a PS4 emulator…kind of When it comes to PlayStation exclusives that gamers want to see come to PC, Bloodborne is usually at the top of the list for many. Despite being developed by FromSoftware, the developers behind Dark Souls and Elden Ring, it has yet to see a port to PC and is only available on PlayStation. But, gamers are taking it upon themselves to change that.

ShadPS4, one of the PlayStation 4 emulators currently in development, took to X to reveal that they had managed to get Bloodborne to boot to the title screen, although with a Virtual Boy-esque red and black color scheme. This marks one of the biggest leaps in PS4 emulation so far and is a promising step in the long road to preserving the eighth generation of systems.

https://twitter.com/shadps4/status/1809147311450181813

Although this is positive news, don't expect to be playing Bloodborne on your PC anytime soon, unless Sony finally gives FromSoftware the approval to create a PC port of the currently-PS4 exclusive. When it comes to emulating the PS4 version, it will likely be many years before it is possible. The Xenia emulator, an Xbox 360 emulator, began development back in 2013 and only has 18% of the library in a playable state. It would be surprising if Bloodborne is fully playable within the next five years, but at least this is a major step in the right direction.

Currently, ShadPS4 can successfully play 28 different games, with some being fully playable while others can load into the game but suffer from graphical and audio issues. Some of these games include Sonic Mania, We Are Doomed, and The Disney Afternoon Collection.

Bloodborne has long been one of the most highly requested PC ports, with it being one of the few Souls-like titles that isn't available on PC. This is due to Sony being the publisher of it, which prevents FromSoftware from creating a port without being granted permission by Sony. But, with Sony porting many of its formerly exclusive titles to PC, including the likes of God of War Ragnarok and The Last of Us, a Bloodborne PC port could see the light of day eventually.

The First Descendant players believe the game won’t last long without this feature being added The First Descendant has already been a huge hit, with it seeing hundreds of thousands of players jumping on to check out the latest looter shooter to hit the market. But as players get deeper into the game, some are worrying about the future of The First Descendant if matchmaking isn't implemented to help with the higher difficulties.

Image captured by VideoGamer

U/GW2Quinn took to Reddit to share their thoughts on The First Descendant's future after playing the endgame content, noting that the lack of in-game matchmaking could cause the game to lose players eventually. "After playing endgame for a few days, this game will not live long if matchmaking is not added for Hard mode Dungeons / Intercepts," they said.

"The vast majority just want to hit a button and do the content. Matchmaking may be a tiny bit frustrating, but, as long as some sort of power check is put in place, it will be much healthier in the long run in terms of maintaining a population, otherwise, you are going to lose LOADS of people. That won't be enough to keep the money flowing."

U/Cosmic__Anomoly22 noted that The First Descendant has taken a lot of inspiration from the likes of Destiny 2 and Warframe, even going as far as copying aspects of the game, but chose to leave out matchmaking mechanics saying "It's funny how much of this game is a direct copy of another game but they forgot to copy the lessons learned from those same games. Ammo scarcity, no LFG tool, no social systems, etc. This game was already going to have a very niche audience and the endless barriers they put in place to actually be able to play are going to make a lot of people lose interest quickly. This game is another stark reminder of how badly people want a GOOD looter shooter, but companies still can't seem to get it right."

U/NoAd8660 suggests that Nexon Games looks to popular MMORPGs for inspiration with how they allow players to find parties to complete missions, which is incredibly important on hard mode, saying"I understand if they don't wanna make a direct matchmaking thing but at a bare minimum add a party finder in-game for everyone to find stuff, party up, and kill things together. Like.. a dev literally needs to go on Final Fantasy XIV or some MMO and copy that system and paste it here."

Finally, U/CaptainBackPain touched on what the future could hold for Nexon Games if they choose not to implement matchmaking soon, "I've played games before where they stick to their no matchmaking BS, only to change their minds later but by that point, a large portion of the community had moved on."

Although some missions can be completed on hard mode while playing solo, the majority of players will struggle with the higher difficulty without other players helping them out, which makes matchmaking an essential mechanic that should be in the game. Unless you happen to have friends who play the game or are willing to look for groups in Discord servers and on social media, you will likely hit the wall with how far you can progress before finishing all of the content. When this happens, most will simply move on to another game.

With The First Descendant only being released for a few days at this point, it would be unfair to write it off before it even had its first major update, so these mechanics and features could be implemented soon. Even while it is not in the game, I still highly recommend checking it out because I have been having a lot of fun with it so far, as a newbie to the looter shooter genre. To help get you started, I highly recommend checking out our The First Descendant beginner's tips and tricks guide.

The First Descendant breaks all-time player record despite major server issues Despite its issues at launch, so far The First Descendant has been a huge success for Nexon Games as the game enters its first weekend of release. It will be interesting to see how the game does long term, but for now, Nexon is just riding the wave of success because it's already hit impressive numbers for a new IP.

Image captured by VideoGamer

According to Steamdb, The First Descendant saw its all-time peak concurrent players on July 4th, clocking in at 239,513. This figure is higher than Warframe's peak of 189,837, and less than 80,000 from Destiny 2's peak of 316,750. It also came following server issues earlier in the day, and it being a major holiday in the United States.

It will be interesting to see whether The First Descendant can keep the momentum going and stand toe to toe with the likes of Destiny and Warframe as the third main looter shooter title. Nexon Games is no stranger to creating successful live-service titles, with some of its games dating back to the early 2000s still being active today.

If you haven't jumped into the latest looter shooter, now is a great time to check it out. As a newbie to the genre, I am having a lot of fun and can't wait to dive in more over the coming weeks and months. To help get you started, I highly recommend checking out our The First Descendant beginner's tips and tricks guide, as well as our guide on the best starter character to choose, this one helped me a lot when I first tried the game.

XDefiant had to be “built up from the ground floor” using MMO engine, dev reveals Amid accusations of XDefiant being rushed out following Season 1's less-than-ideal launch, one of the game's developers has revealed the root cause of some of the game's fundamental issues. Mark Rubin, executive producer for XDefiant, stated that many of the problems players currently encounter are caused by the Ubisoft shooter being built using "an engine that has only ever been an MMO."

For those unfamiliar, Rubin is referring to Ubisoft Snowdrop, the same engine other developers have used to create hit games, such as The Division series, Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. With this in mind, you've probably noticed a common theme with the games we've listed: none are a pure, out-and-out shooter. Naturally, with the engine having no established FPS framework, the XDefiant team has essentially had to start from scratch to create the game.

"Even CoD started on ID tech, which was a shooter engine," Rubin added in his lengthy Twitter/X post. "Apex [Legends] started on [Valve's Source] shooter engine." "But for us, we are working on developing all new tech that was designed for something else," he continued. "That being said, the engine is really great, but it does require a lot of work, and with that work comes a lot of bugs that other engines have already worked out. We're not a shooter that's been out for 20 years."

https://twitter.com/PixelsofMark/status/1809020713954914444

Like any game that's essentially started from zero, though, there's nowhere else to go but up, and you can likely expect plenty of improvements with XDefiant. After all, Mark Rubin, Patrick Price, and the rest of the game's dev team have been quick to react and address many of its ongoing issues, which should only continue moving forward.

Nexon Games has responded by offering all players rewards as an apology, but this decision may annoy some players.

In a blog post, Nexon Games revealed that all players will be granted the previously exclusive Beta test rewards that were given to players who took part in the tests in October 2022 and September 2023. These rewards are:

Players can find them by going to the mailbox in Albion where they will be available to claim. Here is where you can also claim your Twitch Drops rewards if you have already acquired them by watching streamers play the game.

Although this news may annoy some players that tested the game back in 2022 and 2023, it will be good news for newer players, even ones that have yet to try the game as Nexon Games also announced that the rewards will be given to future players too. So if you haven't had a chance to jump into The First Descendant yet, now is a great time to change that. PSA: The First Descendant battle pass has free skins in a hidden menu Nexon's looter shooter, The First Descendant, has been mired in a few controversies in its early days. Its less-than-ideal release saw the game become virtually unplayable due to login and server issues. But even worse than these network problems were the questionable microtransaction practices present within, which predictably saw plenty of criticism for its outraged player base. This time, although slightly less problematic, the developers have seemingly concealed a few free battle pass skins through a hard-to-find menu.

Initially spotted by Reddit user Lexcelu, you can access these free skins by pressing the hexagonal icon on the bottom right corner of the battle pass hub. Afterward, you'll be redirected to a page containing six different accessories you can unlock using Supply Coins, including a Neural Network body skin for Ajax. Remember, though, that you need to reach season level 50 before you can claim these prizes, and you'll also need to complete a fair few weekly challenges to gather enough Supply Coins.

Now, whether on purpose or not, Nexon placing these free accessories on a concealed page brings their monetization issues into the light once again. Based on several comments below Lexcelu's Reddit post, most players seemingly had no idea about the existence of these freebies, let alone the menu where you can find them in. And predictably enough, many are calling Nexon out once again, with one user bluntly calling this hidden menu "a**hole design."

Unfortunately, Nexon is no stranger to being called out for its microtransactions, as many of its previous games have been similarly criticized for the same issues. With this in mind, the notorious video game publisher may not be planning on changing its monetization strategy anytime soon—that is, unless something drastic happens.

The First Descendant devs have already banned 1,000 players The First Descendant has only been live for three days and players have already been exploiting and cheating their way to victory. But, Nexon Games isn't about to let that happen as they have revealed that they have already banned 1,000 players.

Image via Nexon Games

In a blog post, Nexon Games has revealed that in the first two days of The First Descendant being release, the developers have banned 996 players while also encouraging the community to help report any bannable behavior saying "We're inspecting abusive gaming behavior to ensure that all Descendants can enjoy the game in a pleasant environment. If you notice any abnormal or abusive behavior while playing the game, please report it through the in-game reporting feature." The bans range from 7-day restrictions on being able to play to permanently being banned from the game.

9 users were hit with a 7 day ban for Advertising, with Nexon categorizing it as "Actions have been taken for advertising harmful content, commercial content, and content unrelated to the game."68 users were banned for 30 days for Abnormal Gameplay, Nexon doesn't confirm what falls under this category.161 users were permanently banned from the game for Exploitation of all processes related to the Open Store, which Nexon describes as "Actions were taken because of unfair gains by exploitation on store payment process." This sounds like players that purchase items and then charge back the transactions to try and gain the items for free. Finally, 768 players were also permanently banned for "Creation, distribution, or use of unauthorized programs." This seems like players that were using cheats or other similar programs.

For those that were affected, Nexon has let players know how to appeal the bans.

If you would like to vindicate yourself in relation to a claim on the exploitation of the Open Store's payment process, please visit our official website > Customer Service > 1:1 Support and make your inquiry. If you would like to vindicate yourself in relation to a claim on the exploitation of the payment process through chargebacks, please contact the platform store where you made the payment.

If you want to play The First Descendant as the developers intended, it can be quite overwhelming if you're new to the looter shooter genre. Helldivers 2 leak suggests an Orbital Flare stratagem is in the works While the Galactic War rages on in the background, Super Earth High Command continues to provide the frontlines with new toys to make each mission slightly easier. And this time, though higher-ups have yet to confirm its development, the latest Helldivers 2 leak hints that a new Orbital Illumination Flare stratagem is in the works.

As its name suggests, the alleged upcoming stratagem calls down a flare that can attract groups of enemies at once—especially useful if your squad gets bombarded with multiple Bug Breaches or Bot Drops. You can also use it to illuminate dark areas, making your surroundings much easier to see and navigate. Finally, Reddit leaker Tier5NPC claimed that it activates upon being called in, only has a 30-second cooldown, has unlimited uses, and lasts for 25-30 seconds each time.

However, they did note that this isn't the final build of the Orbital Illumination Flare stratagem, and it could still see a few tweaks before its eventual launch. Of course, much like the alleged arrival of the notorious Helldivers 1 bug, the Impaler, you'll need to take this Helldivers 2 leak with a grain of salt. Arrowhead Game Studios has yet to confirm this stratagem's arrival and likely won't anytime soon, so you'll have to remain patient until they do, if at all.

But with the developers constantly providing updates, fresh content in the form of new enemies, stratagems, and mission types should arrive sooner rather than later. So, to make the wait slightly less excruciating, why not check out our guides on the best Helldivers 2 loadouts and the best Helldivers 2 weapons? This way, you can finish each operation easily whether you're playing solo or with friends. Alternatively, you can take a look at the latest Helldivers 2 update, which adds new Level 5 ship modules.

Helldivers 2 should look to Halo to revitalise the game Despite not being on Xbox, it is clear that Helldivers 2 took some inspiration from Microsoft's flagship gaming IP. Many are still hoping to see the game eventually make its way to the green platform, although with it being published by Sony that is unlikely to happen, although a team of modders are working on their own version of Helldivers 2 that will run inside of Halo Infinite's Forge mode. Although Xbox players may never be able to play the game, Arrowhead Game Studios should look to Halo to help bring players back.

U/Youssef-Elsayed took to Reddit to share an image of the iconic Warthog from the Halo franchise with the caption "Someday, Helldivers, someday." Vehicles have long been a requested feature in Helldivers 2, and they would be a lot of fun to traverse the vast landscape of the map as well as utilize onboard weapons such as turrets to take down the Automatons and Terminids.

U/Aultumn believes that this could help with revitalizing the game saying "This could boost those player count numbers back into the hundreds of thousands. Obviously, call it the HellHog, add a huge minigun in the back of it - or a flame thrower!"

Image from Rebs Gaming on X.

Vehicles have already been leaked to be coming to Helldivers 2 but their designs have fallen flat with players. Hopefully, the developers will tweak them to be more fun and exciting to use.

With Arrowhead Game Studios on summer vacation, it may be a while before we see them come to the game, but we will see them eventually, which is what counts. Until then, all we can do is bring democracy the old-fashioned way with boots to the ground. To ensure victory against the Automatons and Terminids, we highly recommend checking out our Helldivers 2 best weapons guide and best armor guide.
